MARCH 7, 2017, MEMPHIS, TN: Immersion Hospitality (Immersion) announced today it has demonstrated its commitment to increasing capability and improving operational efficiency with the achievement of Maturity Level Three in the CMMI for Development v1.3 (CMMI-DEV v1.3 ML3).
CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a process improvement framework for software and engineering systems developed by Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and administered by the CMMI Institute. The model is utilized by organizations large and small across the globe to improve capabilities and performance.
Maturity Level Three indicates that when appraised, Immersion was found to be achieving a combination of specific and generic goals in a broad range of process areas. The achievement of the Level comes as a byproduct of Immersions’ partnership with Process Innovation firm Broadsword Solutions (Broadsword).
