Broadsword Appoints Tim Zeller to Director of Strategic Solutions

BETHESDA, MD - Broadsword Solutions Corporation (Broadsword) announced today that Tim Zeller has been appointed as Broadsword’s new Director of Strategic Solutions. In his new role, Zeller will work with Broadsword clients to identify and implement new opportunities to improve performance.

Zeller is a former chief executive of government and non-profit organizations and has served as General Council and Director of Risk Management and Legal Affairs in higher education and the health care industry. He is a Certified ISO 9000 lead auditor and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resource) and an attorney who received his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

Zeller will also be responsible for growing Broadsword’s solution offerings, including further expansion of training programs, agile transformation, performance management and organizational change management.

In addition, Zeller will help further develop the integration and synchronization of client performance improvement and transformation initiatives at Broadsword’s clients throughout North America.

New CMMI Training Classes Offered by Broadsword

Introduction to CMMI training class helps organizations achieve Performance Innovation goals


WATERFORD, Mich., January 8, 2015— Broadsword Solutions has scheduled two new Introduction to CMMI-DEV training classes designed to provide attendees with a detailed overview of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). The 3-day course provides systems engineers, software developers, project managers, and process professionals with an understanding of how to use the CMMI, a model that is the  leading framework for software process improvement.

The hands-on, interactive learning experiences provided in this training are designed to help software and engineering professionals learn about CMMI, process models, and how to use them to be a great company.

Broadsword Expands Automotive Supplier Capability with the Addition of Ross Timmerman as Senior Consultant

WATERFORD, MI - Broadsword Solutions Corporation (Broadsword) announced today that Ross Timmerman will be immediately joining the firm as a Senior Consultant.

With more than 18 years in the automotive industry as an electronics engineering design and management professional, Timmerman’s experience includes embedded hardware and software design, project management, process improvement and electronics manufacturing.  His broad experience, especially in the automotive supplier sector, adds additional capability to the Broadsword team. Prior to joining Broadsword, Timmerman worked at Johnson Controls and Visteon.

As a Senior Consultant with Broadsword, Timmerman will focus on assisting clients in the automotive, aerospace, defense, and federal government sectors using Broadsword’s AgileCMMI methodology, which is based on the industry leading Capability Maturity Model Integration, or CMMI.
