Broadsword Solutions Supports Introduction of Classical Music to New Audiences

Detroit, Mi - July 6, 2012 - CutTime Productions, LLC, an artistic venture committed to connecting curious music lovers with the beauty and power of classical music, today announced their strategic partnership with Broadsword Solutions Corporation (Broadsword), a new kind of engineering performance improvement firm that uses Agile methods to implement CMMI-based solutions that improve software development and organized processes.

Led by Detroit Symphony Orchestra bassist Rick Robinson, CutTime Productions uses three signature ensembles and a publishing house to make classical music more accessible to the masses. Robinson has arranged over a hundred famous symphonic and classical works for these ensembles and composed several that blend classical with urban pop to refresh the genre and touch new audiences with these styles.

"With the generous support of our partner, Broadsword, we will begin to cover the startup costs of traveling the country and introducing our music and methods nationally," Robinson said. "Our long-term vision is that CutTime Productions will be a highly visible tool for orchestras, and that people - particularly young audiences - will open up to classical music."

"Like Rick, I started my career journey as a classical musician," Jeff Dalton, President of Broadsword Solutions, said. "With their ability to apply science and discipline, and layer creativity on top of it, Cut Time Productions does for classical music what Broadsword does for software engineering. We are proud to be a partner in their success."

Headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, the mission of CutTime Productions is to shift the paradigm of the orchestra establishment while articulating the surprising value of classical music to everyday Americans. More information and samples can be found at
